We are hiringa Shift Supervisor for ourupcoming location at Westfield Garden State Plaza in Paramus, opening in March of 2025. Currentlywith three locations andtwomore on the way in 2025, we are seeking team membersat all levelsto join us as as we grow to New Jersey and beyond! We are looking for anexperienced food & beverage professional tojoin the opening team as a Shift Supervisor.The Shift Supervisor plays a pivotal role in ensuring efficient operations during each shift, leading theteamand prioritizing excellent customer service. Responsibilities include overseeing staff, streamlining operations, andmaintaininghigh-quality menu offerings. PrimaryDuties and ResponsibilitiesInclude: Prepare food for service (e.g.slicing vegetables, preparing sauces,etc), following all recipe & portion control guidelines Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies at start and end of shift Cook crêpes in cooperation with the rest of the team, adhering to quality & food timing standards Lead by example andexhibitsuperb customer service skills while assuring the rest of the team carries it out as well Successfully handle any service issues during the shiftand provide proper solutions to keep guests happy and retain them Leads the store and team to always achieve an “A” (if not applicable, passing grade) in health department inspections, or other occasional inspections Accountable for cash counting at the beginning / end of their shift and assuring that the team is handling cash correctly,approving discounts where applicable, andprocessing refunds when applicable and approved Ensure full compliance withhygiene/sanitation regulations and safety standards, per DOH guidelines Candidates can expect: Competitivehourly pay, ranging from $17.25-19.25/hour, depending on experience Career growth opportunities with a growing company Paid vacation time+ sick time A dedicated team of operators to support the venue andteam Position Requirements: At least 1 year in a supervisory position in the food & beverage industry A ServeSafe Certificate (or comparable) is required Availability to work a varied schedule of nights, weekends, andholidays Availability to work a minimum of 4 shifts per week is required for supervisory positions Ability to usevarious technologysuch as Microsoft office, scheduling platforms,inventory systems,and Point of Sale systems A positive, inspiring attitude with the desire to motivate others to do their besteveryday! Physical Demands The physical demands for this position are seeing, hearing, speaking, reaching,frequentlylifting upto 25 pounds, occasionallylifting upto 50 pounds, sitting, standing, for 4 to 8 hours, bending, and moving intermittently during working hours.
